Obituary of Gary Jack Lencl

Gary Jack Lencl, 71, of Kingsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 1, 2020.
Gary was born to Max and Rose (Rogal) Lencl on July 2, 1948 in Ashtabula. He grew up on the family farm where they sold fruit in North Kingsville. Gary is survived by his wife June (Borner) whom he married on January 25, 2002; children, Gary Lencl, Amy Richardson, Ryan Lencl, and Nicole Lencl; step-son, Ronald (Michelle) Turley; sister, Gale (John) Gluvna; grandchildren, Scott, Samantha, La'Niya, Mason, Jerzi, Olivia, Caitlin, Max, McKenna, ; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis, Andrew, Megan, and Renee; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Max Lencl, step-son, Andrew Turley Jr., and his parents.
Gary was a gifted mason; he started Lencl Masonry and operated the business for many years retiring a few years ago due to his illness. His legacy and craftsmanship will live on in many schools, churches, and historic buildings he helped preserve in the community.
While still running the masonry business, he took ownership of the Moonlight Inn in Kingsville for a few years where he enjoyed cooking for the customers. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ashtabula, The Conneaut American Legion, and the Young Men's Social Club.
In addition to enjoying cooking, Gary loved to travel, antiquing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 5-8PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4901 Main Ave., Ashtabula, on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11AM.
Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula or to St. Peter's Rectors Discretionary Fund, 4901 Main Ave., Ashtabula.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Hospice of the Western Reserve for their kindness and care they provided Gary.
