Obituary of Paul Gregory Fletcher

Paul Gregory Fletcher ASHTABULA – Paul Gregory Fletcher, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 2, 2020 at his home. He was born July 28, 1944 in Portsmouth, the son of William "Roger" and Garnet (Hinkle) Fletcher and had been an area resident since 1972. A 1962 graduate of Portsmouth High School, he served his country in the US Army from 1967 to 1969 before being honorably discharged. He then went on to graduate from Ohio State University in 1970. On April 5, 1980, he married Sandra Lynn (Taylor) and together they shared 32 wonderful years and many adventures prior to her passing. Prior to his retirement in 2009, he worked for Kraftmaid for many years. In his earlier years, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club, and Ashtabula Investment Club. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. His survivors include three daughters, Jenny Davis of Ashtabula, Alexis (Jeff) Frain of Canfield, and Lauren Fletcher of Oakland, CA; three grandchildren, Grace Davis, Ryleigh Koren, and Lenora Frain; and a step-sister, Anita Culp. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Fletcher on July 16, 2012; his parents; and step-mother, Betty Fletcher. Calling hours will be held from 5-7PM on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula. A service will follow at 7PM.
