Nancy Ellen Hopson, 72, of Ashtabula passed away, Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Saybrook Landing of Covid-19.
She was born October 3, 1947 in Monroe County, West Virginia the daughter of the late Paul R. and Mamie Lee (Jones) Trent. Nancy married Robert Hopson on June 11, 1988. Nancy was a waitress at Lakeway Restaurant in Ashtabula for 25 years before her retirement.
Nancy enjoyed Bingo, dancing, going to casinos, and working in her yard. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2001; siblings, William Trent, James Trent, Joe Trent, Wilbur Trent, Dorothy Ritchie, Linda Currence, and Verna Dale; and her parents.
Nancy is survived by her children, Patricia (Robert) Hall and Gary (LouAnn) Adkins; sisters, Virginia Neace and Mary (John) Nosse; brother, Gary Trent; grandchildren, Rhonda, Brittney, Brandy, Trina, Crystal, Daniel, Tracey and Cody; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A private family service will be held at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the family.
