Cynthia L. Dubiel passed away on June 28, 2020 at her home in Plymouth Township, Ohio. Born in Erie, PA on March 23, 1958, she was the daughter of Edward M. and Viola W. Mascharka. After the passing of her mother, Cindy and her father moved to Ashtabula in 1981. In 1982, she met and married her husband, Michael J. Dubiel. The mother of Edward M. (Cari) Dubiel and Justin J. (Ashley) Dubiel, she is survived by her four grandchildren, whom she loved to the moon and back: Henry and Oliver Dubiel and Mason and Emily Dubiel. Cindy also treasured her sisters-in-law, Lori Albrecht and Donna Hubbard, and her many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
After cremation, the family will hold a private graveside service, date TBD. In lieu of flowers, Cindy’s family requests that donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of Ashtabula County. Mike Dubiel would also like to recognize the work and kindness of the nurses and caregivers who helped Cindy during her illnesses
