Stacy Lyn Summers-Bliffin ASHTABULA- Stacy Lyn Summers-Bliffin, 44, beloved daughter, sister, mom and grandma, aunt and niece passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her residence. Stacy is the daughter of Anita Hollback and Bruce Summers. She was born in Ashtabula County on January 27, 1976. Stacy attended Kent state, Ashtabula and was a graduate of the Knoedler School of Nursing. She was a nurse for the Gainesville VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida for ten years. She returned to Ashtabula to be near her family, whom she missed dearly. Stacy was a woman of many talents and interests. She was a voracious reader, especially Stephen King novels, Game of Thrones series as well as, the Left Behind series of stories. In her younger years she was a certified life guard and in her free time she also enjoyed swimming, boating, skiing, and family beach time. She had an eclectic choice in music and enjoyed being at the Ashtabula Arts Center in her teen years. Her love of traveling led to her being a foreign exchange student traveling to France and Spain. Her Japanese “sister” Aki Kato had lived with her family for six months and they developed strong bond. A great baker and cook her family enjoyed her many offerings. She made the best Shepherd’s Pie. Stacy was known as “Glitter Girl” -a title she took seriously. She was very style conscious and loved trying new trends. She was an artist and made jewelry and crafted gifts for her family and friends. Stacy had a passion for flowers, sea shells, beach glass, and dragon flies. She often combined these things to make beautiful artistic pieces and topped them off with glitter. Her children were her life. She loved, supported, encouraged and was their biggest fan. She took her children on Gulf hikes, picnics, adventures, and loved being a mother. She was truly a family person; she never missed an opportunity to tell you she loved you. Stacy is survived by her most precious children, Johnnie (Tia) Bliffin, Travis Bliffin Riley and Christian Bliffin; grandson Johnnie Bliffin ”Baby Johnnie”; her mom, Anita Hollback of Ashtabula, dad, Bruce (Susan) Summers of Ashtabula; brother, Nathan (Alicia) Summers and Rachel (James) Conn; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Ean and Katalina Summers and Luna Alpha-Lynn Conn; her aunts and uncles, Shirley Wortman, Judy Knight, Dennis Hollback, Brian Summers and Brandon Summers; grandma, Grace Ann Summers and loving cousins. Stacy was preceded in death by her cousin, Glenn Knight; aunt, Rhonda Sue Fisher; uncle, Brent Summers; grandparents, Herbert “Tiny” and Helen (Slack) Hollback, and Daniel Summers. Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. Rev. Thomas McFadden will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12Noon until 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. If desired, friends and family may make contributions to Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
