Brian P. Perkins ASHTABULA- Brian Patrick Perkins, 40, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Monday, July 27, 2020. Brian was born on April 2, 1980 in Ashtabula the son of Marsha Verdi and Charles Perkins and remained a lifelong area resident. Brian graduated from Ashtabula High School. In 2010 Brian had a kidney transplant and for many years he was able to live a full life. He began to experience signs of rejection and fought bravely to overcome his many issues. Brian was employed with Ashcraft Industries for the last ten years. He loved his job and enjoyed the people he worked with. He was diligent and dedicated to his job. When not working, Brian could be found talking on his CB radio for hours. He was great at X-Box games and could tell you how to play and get around all the obstacles. Brian liked sports and supported the Indians and his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Brian enjoyed his time with family; although he was an only child he loved his cousins as though they were his siblings. His aunts and uncles were his second set of parents and visits with them were always very special. Brian is survived by his mom, Marsha Weaver; aunts, Patricia Green of Ashtabula,Denise Sorenson of Hanover,Pennsylvania Tiara Frost of Lodi, California, Della Fassett of Radcliff, Kentucky, and Sharon Sherboure of Blythwood, SC; uncles, Perry Verdi and Ronnie Verdi of Ashtabula and Louis William Verdi of Sardis; and many loving cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his dad, Charles Perkins. ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio is assisting the family. www.ducro.com
