Obituary of Mary Ann Brock

Andover -Mary Edwards Brock, went to be with the Angels on October 4, 2020. She was born in 1941 in Pennsylvania to Odie and Ora Edwards. Mary married her beloved husband, Blaine in 1960. During their 60 years of marriage, they worked side by side in many things. Mary helped take care of their apple orchard, picking apples, making cider, and creating many baked goods out of the fruits of their labor. She enjoyed family camping trips, where she would cook up the day’s catches of her husband and son, Blaine Jr. She shared her love of cooking with her son, and together, they would create many delicious meals. Mary and Blaine built two houses together, as well as totally renovating an old farmhouse, in which they lived for many years. It was there that she spent many hours playing Old Maid and Go Fish with her grandchildren. She also watched them fish in their pond using her “special” bait, cheese. She was never afraid to “get right down in there” doing the dirty jobs. She knew the value of hard work, which she passed on to her son and grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband Blaine, her grandchildren, Timothy, Raeleigh and Shailyn, her sister & brother-in-law, Esther & George Turkovich, and her daughter-in-law Cindy Brock. Mary was pre-deceased by her son, Blaine Brock Jr., in August of 2020, her parents, and many brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by all.
