Livithan Jewel Scherman, 85, of Ashtabula, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Lantern of Saybrook after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 30, 1935 in Fries, Virginia. A dedicated homemaker, Jewel enjoyed sewing and sifting through yard sales any chance she got. She also loved to be the Happy Hour Hostess and play cards with her friends.
Jewel will be remembered by her three step sons, William, Ronald and Robert Scherman; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.
In addition to her husband, Robert Scherman, who passed away in 2017, she is preceded in death by her mother & father Telitha & Charlie Gallimore, and siblings Ilis Jackson & James Galimore.
Her family would like to give a special thank you to Lantern of Saybrook for the wonderful care and companionship they provided her during her time there.
Interment will be held at Lulu Falls Cemetery, Kingsville, OH at the convenience of the family.
