Obituary of Bernadine Daisy Marie Jones

Bernadine Daisy Marie Jones, 63, passed away unexpectedly, Monday November 2, 2020 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born June 27, 1957 in Painesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Ophelia Manning Brand. Bernadine lived for many years in the Painesville area. Over the years she was a natural caregiver to many. She volunteered much of her time at her church, and various church organizations. Bernadine was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ (GR Faith Tabernacle) under the leadership of the late Supt. Dr. Roy L. Barclay, Jr. During this time she served as a choir member in the choir and as an usher on the Sr. Usher Board. After the death of Supt. Barclay, she served under Elder Larry Barclay. After moving to Ashtabula four years ago, she served under GO Ministries under the direction of Rev. John Salters. Most recently attended New Hope Church of God in Christ under the direction of Pastor Emory Moore. Bernadine loved playing with her grandchildren, cooking, and especially walking. She is survived by her children, Crystal Fourqurean of Cleveland, Nicole Fourqurean , Jason Fourqurean, Justin Fourqurean, and Fannie Lipscomb all of Ashtabula; sister, Gloria (Kimp) James of Euclid; brother, Johnny Manning of Ashtabula; two grandchildren, Keyasha and Sharia Fourqurean of Ashtabula, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband John Jones, and her mother. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 12:00PM at New Hope Church of God in Christ, with Pastor Emory Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11AM until the time of the service at 12PM.
