Obituary of Drew A. Rapose

Drew A. Rapose ASHTABULA- Drew A. Rapose, 59, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. Drew is the son of Arthur and Margaret (Colucci) Rapose. He was born in Ashtabula on June, 11, 1961 and remained a lifetime area resident. Drew was a graduate of Harbor High School, Lake Erie and Mt. Union Colleges where he received his Bachelor’s Degrees and Walden University where he was awarded his Masters of Education. Drew was an active member of the Sons of Italy #1169. Drew enjoyed spending times with his friends whom he considered family. Drew was an entrepreneur; he owned Lake Erie Power Wash and Reel Times Fishing Charter. His passion was being a teacher of Special Education in the Geneva School District. Seeing his students excel and gain new knowledge was very special to him. He as well as his colleagues prepared their students to navigate the everyday world. Drew enjoyed spending time with his family; those times were very special to him. Those memories were treasures of the heart. Drew is survived by his brothers, David and Millie Rapose of Saybrook, Donald and JoEll Rapose of Ashtabula; nieces, NoElle (Eric) Blood and Holli Rapose and great nephew, Declan Blood. Drew was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Rapose and his parents. Private family services will be held January 9, 2021 at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue Raymond Thomas will preside.
