Obituary of Rob Barger

Robert E. Barger Mentor- Robert Edward Barger, 56 passed away January 5, 2021 after a decline in health from injuries suffered from an accident many years ago. The son of Theodore and Geraldine (Headley) Barger, Rob was born on January 12, 1964 in Ashtabula and had remained a lifelong area resident. Rob was employed with Thomas Fence for many years prior to his accident. Rob loved anything with a motor! He raced cars at Raceway Seven for many years; he liked riding his four wheelers at his home with family and friends, and motorcycle trips. Rob was a Mr. Fixit; if it was broken he was the go to person for repairs. Rob also liked to hunt; the quietness of the woods gave him peace and contentment. Rob enjoyed his children and grandchildren; they brought him joy and many smiles. Rob is survived by his mom, Geraldine(Charles McQueen) Lane, daughters, Jenesia Barger, Nikki Barger(Michael )Hernandez and David (fiancé` Alison Rauchenstein)Strong; grandchildren, Bayleigh and Gracelynn Rogers, Sebastian, David, Jr. and Alira Strong; siblings, Yvonne(Lenny) Luoma, Michele Keefer and Dean(Stephanie) Lane; aunt, Debra Guerini; nieces and nephews, Diane(Raymond) Yoder and their children Carter and Coltyn, Dean Lane and his child Regan, April (fiancé` April Spring) Lane, Jamie (Monica) Mayle, Justin (Amanda) Novak, and daughter, Malai, Adam (Tersea) Novak and his son, Tyler, Allie(Andrew) Collins and her children, Jessie and Nataly, Vonnye, Jess(Shawn)Fritz and several great nieces and nephews. Rob was preceded in death by his father Theodore Barger; brother Chuckie Barger, grandparents, Delbert and Elinor (Koepke) Headley and Grandpa and Grandma Barger. Private interment will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 East Center Street, North Kingsville, Ohio. If desired, contributions may be made to the family.
