Obituary of Marilyn Wiley

Marilyn H. Wiley Mayfield Heights- Marilyn Helene Wiley, 77 passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital. The daughter of John and Helen (Ciepiel) Marrison, Marilyn was born on November 8, 1943 in Ashtabula and had remained a lifelong area resident. Marilyn attended Church of the Living God and enjoyed being a part of the congregation of believers. She was always willing to be of service to others. Marilyn was privileged to be able to stay home with her sons, as they were growing up. Marilyn was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker. Her chicken paprikash and apple pie were favorites of her sons. Marilyn loved animals and her three dogs entertained her and made her smile. She enjoyed listening to music, traveling to Myrtle Beach with her companion, Randy Lambert and dipping her toes in the sand and walking in the ocean. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Robert Dale of Mustang, Oklahoma, Steve and (April Sheahan)Dale, Johnny and Robin Dale, her long-time companion and friend, Randy Lambert all of Ashtabula, grandchildren, Christopher Dale and Kylie Sheahan; her brother, Walter and Judy Marrison; her fur babies Bella, Maggie, Mia, Minnie, Missy and Monnie. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wiley, her parents, and siblings, Jack and Jim Marrison. Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. Reverend Robert Falke, Pastor of the Church of the Living God will officiate. Private Burial will be in Ridgeview Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed from 4PM until time of service at 6PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
