Obituary of Hester L. Beaver

Hester L. Beaver, age 90, formerly of Jefferson Road, passed away January 9, 2021 in Saybrook Landing Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 30, 1930 in Brownton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert B. and Pina B. (Jordan) Sawyers and had been an area resident for over 65 years. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God, Blue Star Mothers, Sheffield Grange and Red Hats. She enjoyed cake decorating and bowling and worked many jobs in the area. Survivors include her children, Larry (Connie) Beaver of Florida, Brenda (Richard) Zinsky of Jefferson, Carol (Al) Hess of Trenton,Ohio and Rick and Donna Beaver of Ashtabula. Her brother, Kyle Sawyers, of Madison, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Beaver, sons Robert and Anthony Joe Beaver, brothers, Robert Jr. (June), William and Dannie Sawyers and one sister, Lulu Belle Blevins and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at noon with calling hours 1 hour before service at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God on Cook Road.
