Fred Brown, 85, of Ashtabula passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.
A lifelong Ashtabula resident, he was born March 5, 1935 the son of Pete and Rose (Cotrena) Brown who preceded him in death.
He retired from local #673 IBEW, "International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers," where he was a proud member since April of 1954. He was an electrical construction supervisor for several electrical contractors in the Tri-State area. He graduated High School in 1954.
In his younger years he was an avid corvette and motorcycle enthusiast, in his later years he enjoyed spending his winters in Florida.
He served in the US Army and the Ohio National Guard from 1957-1962 and was honorably discharged.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Jacalyn Lee Hambleton; grandson, Joshua William Sposito; granddaughter, Courtney Rae Sposito; great-granddaughter, Raven Lee Sposito; great-grandson, Kaige Michael Boczar
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Brown-Penna; and his parents.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12PM at St. Joseph Cemetery, Carpenter Rd., Ashtabula.
