Obituary of Sherry Rose Courtney

Andover- Sherry Rose Courtney, 70, of Andover, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born on December 9, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Fredrick Jerome and Stella Theresa (Kotlarz) Norred. Before retiring in 2016, Sherry was a receptionist at Jefferson Health Care for over 18 years. A kind soul, Sherry welcomed everyone and anyone into her home and was known for her love of animals. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and baking. Sherry especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sherry will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband, Charles E. “Chuck” Courtney. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past December; her children, Charles E. Courtney (fiancée, Lynn Dalton), Tishia Rose Pratt (Lawrence), Robert Anton Courtney; grandchildren, Miranda Rose Balas (Nicholas), Rachel Dalton, Christian Edward Courtney, Blaine Robert Courtney, Eugene Daniel Anthony (Savannah Marie), Charles Daniel Crowther (fiancée, Melanie Candela), Becky and Jessie Brazier, Jeremy and Cindy Pratt; great grandchildren, her soon to be great granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Balas, Eugene Scott Anthony, Lindsley Icely Anthony, Colt Liam Crowther, Markel Jefferies and Jaylen Martin, McKenzie Pratt, RJ Stoltz; siblings, Cynthia Kane, Abigail (Terry) Smith, James, Mike, Chris and Fred Norred; her beloved animals Gimpy, Marissa and Zoey. She was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Norred and her granddaughters, Amy Rose and Angel Rose Crowther; and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Child-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 1071 OH-7 Pierpont, OH.
