Albert F. Notarianni
ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP, Albert Floyd Notarianni, 91 passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 surrounded in love by his family.
Albert was the son of Umberto and Florence (Izzo) Notarianni, Albert and his twin, Angelo were born on March 8, 1930 in Ashtabula.
Al was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mt. Carmel Church; where he and Ursula “Mimi” Rich were married December 4, 1976, their marriage was one of love, joy and mutual respect. Al and Mimi were devoted to each other and their family.
Al was employed with the New York Central Railroad for many years. He first began working in the rail yard and retired Yard Supervisor.
Al joined the United States Army in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1957; returning to Ashtabula.
Al enjoyed being outdoors and in his younger years like to fish and hunt. He was a member of several bowling and golf leagues; Al has shot three holes in one at various courses in the area. Al was very particular about his yard; he enjoyed mowing and trimming to keep it looking it’s best.
Al was a good son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa. He loved his family, encouraging, supporting them in their endeavors and sharing their disappointments.
Al is survived by his beloved and cherished wife, Ursula “Mimi” Notarianni; sons, Albert Joseph (Irene) and Theodore “Ted” Notarianni; grandson, Anthony “Tony” Notarianni; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent, and Casey Notarianni; siblings, Louis (Antoinette), Angelo, Joe (Debbie), Charles (Debbie) Notarianni, Marceda “Marcy” Fish, Mary Jane DeAnna; many loving nieces and nephews, Mimi’s niece and nephews, Suzy Renee (Eric)Smith and her family, Craig and Mark Rich and their mom, Sue Drone who were so good to Al.
Al was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert, Antonette, Rita Monda, and Theodore “Ted” Notarianni, and his parents.
If desired, donations in Al’s name may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish,3312 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
At Al’s request private services were held. Reverend Raymond Thomas presided.
