Obituary of Penny Jo Korb

Penny Jo Korb, age 52 ,of Ashtabula, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital. She was born September 2, 1968 in Warren, Ohio.
Penny was an avid shopper and bowler, winning many awards and went to many state tournaments. She loved horses and traveling. Ultimately, she loved her children and family above all else.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard “Rick” Korb; children. Brandee (Klaus) Sassmannshausen of Geneva and Zachary Korb of Cleveland; grandson, Oliver Sassmannhausen; father, Dave Blenman of Kingsville; and siblings, Julie Imbrogno of Florida and Jason Blenman of Conneaut, and cousin, Pamela Dustman of Madison, who was like a sister to Penny.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Blenman; aunt Joan and uncle Dick Brunell who helped raise Penny.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Street, Ashtabula, OH 44004 and from 10-11 am at Kingsville Presbyterian Church, 3056 W Main St, Kingsville, OH 44048.
A funeral service will be held 11 am, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Kingsville Presbyterian Church.
Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank Davita Dialysis for all their care towards Penny the past several years.
