Obituary of Randy Lambert, Sr.

Randy Lambert, Sr., 68, of Ashtabula passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Ashtabula County medical Center. He was born February 5, 1953, in McDowell, Kentucky the son of the late Frank and Lilly (Jones) Lambert. Randy was a United States Army veteran. Over the years he worked at the United States Post office and most recently as a truck driver for Global Transport. Randy enjoyed playing golf with his son and grandson. He was a member of the Church of the Living God. Randy was an avid music lover. He enjoyed singing at church and playing the drums and singing in various bands with his nephews. Breakfast was his favorite meal of the day and he most enjoyed sausage gravy and biscuits with an egg over easy on top. He will dearly be missed by his K-9 companions, Maggie, Mia and Bella who were always by his side. Mr. Lambert is survived by his daughter, Lilly (Jim) Claycomb; son, Randy (Michelle) Lambert, Jr.; brother, Kent (Norma) Lambert; and grandchildren, Rhyder, Kailey, and Jaden Lambert, and Tyler and Taylor Claycomb. He was preceded in death by his parents and many brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 11AM at the Church of the Living God, 1030 Bunker Hill Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio with Rev. Robert Falke, officiating. Burial will follow at Eagleville Cemetery in Austinburg. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 5-7PM at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.
