Annette L. Jones ASHTABULA- Annette Louise Jones, 62 entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Annette was born on January 9, 1959, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Willie and Lucille (Moore) Jones and had remained a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Harbor high School, Annette remained close to her classmates. A valuable employee of ACMC, where she worked for more than twenty years as a nurse’s aide. Annette enjoyed caring for the patients. A member of Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, Annette enjoyed being in church and sharing her faith. Her family meant the world to her. She loved to cook for them and shared her love of cooking, teaching her children and grandchildren how to cook her specialties. Annette enjoyed many types of music, R&B, Blues and Gospel; she could sit for hours and work on jigsaw puzzles, she had an immense amount of patience. Annette will be remembered for her devotion to her family, she was a wonderful sister, devoted mom and grandma, auntie and friend. Annette is survived by her children, Monique Foreman, Bettea “B.J.” (Tommie Portis, Jr.) Triplin and Desmond (Sherri Welton) Triplin; grandchildren, Desmond D’Andre`Triplin, Dezarion Triplin, Dezirae` Triplin and Shane Welton; siblings, Ira(Rachel) Young of Las Vegas, Mitchell(Nancy) Jones of Ashtabula, Mark(Helen) Jones of Painesville, Joe(Mildred) Jones of Brandon MS, Mary Jean Mathers of Ashtabula Georgette Wells of Maple Heights, Carolyn Dryer of Phoenix; many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Annette was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Nathaniel Jones, Willie Jones, Jr., Vernon Jones, Alice Bradly, Ursel Jones and Alma Shoemaker. Homegoing Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Hiawatha Church of God in Christ 3417 Hiawatha Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. Bishop Designee Mitchell Jones, Eulogist. Burial at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, North Kingsville, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 5PM until 7PM at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio.
