Obituary of Patricia Ann Perry

Patricia A. Perry ASHTABULA- Patricia Ann Perry, 66 was called home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. The daughter of Roger L. and Helen Perry, Patricia was born on October 4, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas. The family moved to Ashtabula while Patricia was a child and the family had remained in the Ashtabula area. Patricia graduated from Ashtabula High School, over the years she stayed in contact with her classmates, and they enjoyed getting together. Patricia was a woman of many talents and interests; she enjoyed game shows and especially like Jeopardy, she played with her son, and they would keep score to see who had the most money; it was usually Patricia. Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful occupied a portion of her day, as well as reading. Patricia enjoyed crossword puzzles and solved them using ink, that is quite a feat. She was learning to conquer Sudoku and enjoyed computer solitaire. These pastimes were just to pass the time until she was with her family. Patricia lived for her family, the were her heart and soul. Her love for them was infinite; she was there for them, and they were there for her. Her greatest joy came from being with her children and granddaughter. Patricia is survived by her son, Vareck (Kelly Roach) Colbert, her daughter, Tatyana Colbert; her granddaughter, Arianna Colbert; sister, Joyce L. Perry; the father of her children; Freddy Colbert. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley Perry and brother, Ronald Perry. A Memorial Service will be held at1:30PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004. A gathering for friends and family will be from 12 noon until time of services at the funeral home, Saturday, September 25, 2021.
