Obituary of Jack Anthony Whitlock

Jack A. Whitlock Lehigh Acres FLORIDA- Jack Anthony “Tony “Whitlock, 59, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. The son of Carl C. and Betty R. (Moore) Whitlock, Tony was born in Ashtabula, Ohio April 15, 1962, moving to Florida in 1983. Tony was the beloved husband of Lori (Makar) Whitlock. He married the love of his life, and they created many memories on their marriage journey. Tony owned Jack and Sons Construction with his sons, Kyle and TJ. They had a reputation for creating beautiful and detailed masterpieces. They had a loyal group of clients who would only allow the “Jack of All Trades” to work on their projects. When not creating masterpieces, Jack could be found hunting and fishing, something he learned to do as a young child as well as swimming in the “brick pond” in Ashtabula with his brothers and their friends. Tony’s greatest joy came from his family; his three children and their children were his world. He would do anything for them. He spoiled them with love; supported and encouraged them in every activity. They always knew dad and grandpa would be there for them. Surviving are his loving wife, Lorraine “Lori” Whitlock of Lehigh Acres, FL.; daughter, Jacqueline R. (Charles ) Parish of North Fort Myers, FL.,; sons, Kyle C. (Brooklyn) Whitlock and Anthony R. (Ana) Whitlock all of Lehigh Acres, FL.; father, Carl Whitlock Jr. of Ashtabula, OH.; sister, Patricia(Whitlock) Stasny of Ashtabula; brothers, Kenny M. Whitlock of Ashtabula OH., and Bruce D. Whitlock of Orwell, OH; brother, Carl C. Whitlock III of Florissant, MO., seven beloved grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his, granddaughter, Serenity Gwaltney; mother, Betty R. Whitlock; brother, Roy J. King; brother-in-law, Jeff J. Stasny; nephew, Joshua Fleckenstein; grandparents, Matt and Ada Moore of MacDowell, Kentucky. Celebration of Life Services are scheduled on September 25, 2021at 4:30PM at 8151 Henderson Grade, North Fort Myers, FL. The ceremony will have a live view for those who cannot attend.
