Larry William Skaggs, 59, passed away on October 6, 2021. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on April 29, 1962 to Larry N. and Macella (Blankenship) Skaggs.
He had worked as a steelworker and cook at Skeeters Restaurant in Lake City, Florida, where he met a lot of famous country singers. He also had worked at Goldie’s in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Larry loved AC/DC, model cars, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Randall Hatfield.
Larry is survived by his companion, Karen Como; his siblings, Veronica Engebretsen, Clover (Robert Rylance) Owen, Mark (Karen) Skaggs, and Teri Skaggs; his nephews, Cody Owen and Chase Hamilton; and niece, Storm Skaggs.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
