Obituary of Deborah "Debbie" Lynne Markley

Deborah “Debbie” Markley, 62, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland. Born February 15, 1959, in Conneaut she was a daughter of the late Everett and Virginia (Allen) Garnett. Debbie worked for many years at Actron in Cleveland before their closing. Most recently she was working at Health-Mor in Cleveland. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and playing darts in a league. She also enjoyed spending time with her second family at the Hill Pub, where she was always the life of the party. She loved all of her family so much and enjoyed getting together every year at the annual family reunions. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Beverly (Benjamin) Colona and Christopher (Luarinda) Ritchey; her siblings, Mike (Karen) Garnett, and Joyce (Tim) Portik; her grandchildren, Christine, Danielle, Dominic, Jacob, Joshua, Teddy, Mason, Jaxon, and Carson; three great grandchildren; and her cat Roomey. Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Garnett, her sister, Cindy Weaver, and her parents. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 3PM to 5PM at Walter Martens & Sons Funeral, 9811 Denison Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44102. At the convenience of the family, a private graveside service will be held at Ridgeview Cemetery, Ashtabula, Ohio.
