Ashtabula- Timmie Wayne Keen, 56, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Timmie was born in Ashtabula the son of Jess and Mildred J. (Addair) Keen. He was a graduate of Ashtabula High School Class of 1983. Timmie lived most of his life in Ashtabula traveling and living in many places around the country but loved Ashtabula and returned home after a few years away.
Timmie made friends everywhere he went, and after all these years, it was uncommon to find someone that wasn’t a friend or didn’t know him. He loved to chat, often giving out unsolicited advice, wanting to be helpful and give guidance even when you didn’t always know you needed it. Timmie was relied on by many to his ability to fix anything, from a car, motorcycle or a grandchild’s toy, he was just so knowledgeable on so many things and among the smartest people you could know. To know him, you knew he was out on his motorcycle every possible moment and when you visited his home, every nook and cranny was filled with Harley memorabilia or some small motorcycle. However, he loved his family above all things, they were his world and meant everything to him, especially his grandchildren, whom he cherished.
Timmie will be missed dearly by his family, including his children, who thought their dad was “superman,” Timmie Keen, Katie (Alex Dunning) Bowman, Jacqueline (Billy) Moyer, Kassy (Donnie) Bowman-Earls, Tyler Peterman and Kyla Keen; siblings, Jess (Rita) Keen, Barb Keen, Brad Keen, Mary (Michael) Crawford, Robin Keen, Jimmy (Dee) Keen and Alan Keen; and his beloved, grandchildren, Emma and Hannah McDonald, Brianna Dunning, Christian Moyer, Travis Moyer, Daniel Walker, Mary Abigail and JJ Keen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 11:00AM – 12:00PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, where funeral services will follow at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
