Obituary of Ron R. Carlisle

Ron R. Carlisle, 50, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021. Ron was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on July 26, 1971. He is the son of Elmer and Carol (Cottom) Carlisle. Ron loved his kids and grandkids unconditionally. He spent most of his days with them. He enjoyed playing with them and picking on them. When he wasn’t visiting with family, he liked watching old fashioned cartoons and playing his old fashioned video games on the Artari, and Sega Genesis. Ron cherished his two 1976 Monte Carlo cars, he has kept them in pristine condition over the years and found joy in seeing the cars and having people work on them to keep them nice. He liked to listen to music to pass the time by. He loved ACDC and Linkin Park among others. Ron loved and cherished God. His faith in God has helped him get through many hardships. He was overall a kind and loving person and was always happy to help his kids with anything they needed, especially if it was for his grandkids. He was a really wonderful person and he will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his mother, Carol (Cottom) Carlisle, his 5 children, Andrew Carlisle, Ron Carlisle II, Nicholas (Destiny) Carlisle, Thomas Carlisle, and Coletta Carlisle, his beloved grandchildren, Aaliyah, Bailee, Hayden, Laynii, Paisley, Dakota, Boden, Kalianna, Asher, Parker, Mason, Ryleigh, and Isabella, His sisters, Tammy Carlisle, Dawn Carlisle, and Chris (Frasure) Carlisle, and his brother Dennis Carlisle, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Carlisle II, and his brother Elmer (Spike) Carlisle III. Private services will be held. Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave. Ashtabula is handling the arrangements.
