Obituary of Gerald L. Aldrich, Jr.

Gerald L. Aldrich, Jr, 60, passed away on November 28, 2021, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was born on July 29, 1961, in Erie to Gerald and Dorothea (English) Aldrich. Gerald graduated from Conneaut High School and the county vocational school. He was a farmer and a retired truck driver. Gerald enjoyed farming, baseball, Harley-Davidsons, hunting, and his family, especially his grandkids. He was also known for his love of pie and ice cream and where to find it in his travels. He was preceded in death by his father. Gerald is survived by his children, Angela (Matt) Lyons of Cochranton, Pennsylvania, Michael Aldrich of Linesville, Pennsylvania, Andrew Aldrich of Gainesville, Florida, Jason Aldrich of Conneaut, Ohio, and Courtney (Lukas) Hindman of Linesville; his siblings, Lisa (Rusty) Morrison, Emmitt Aldrich, and Keith (Kathy) Aldrich, all of Conneaut; and his grandchildren, Lucas Aldrich, Hannah Lyons, and Mallory and Maverick Hindman. Funeral services will be held at Childs Williams Ducro Funeral Home, 1071 State Route 7 N, Pierpont, Ohio on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will take place in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Township, Ohio.
