Henry T. Lybrook, Sr., 81, passed away at his home on December 11, 2021. Born on December 14, 1939, in Kentucky, he was the son of James and Marion Lybrook. He moved to Ashtabula about 10 years ago after living in Akron. On July 21, 1962, he married the love of his life, Gloria (Mauk) and together they shared over 55 years of companionship and adventure. He enjoyed working, Elvis, coloring books, fishing (when he was younger), and trips to Pennsylvania in the summer. His survivors include six children, Thomas (Pam) Mauk of Arizona, Brenda Putnam of Florida, Mary (Raymond) Andrews of Akron, Henry “Hank” Lybrook, Jr. of Arizona, William Lybrook, Sr. of Ashtabula, and Angie Lybrook of Ashtabula; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ethel and Eidia; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Bubba, Buddy, Angie, and Molly. He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Michael Lybrook; brothers, Robert, William, Leroy, Rich, and Tom Lybrook; and sister, Mary Sumie. A celebration of life will be held later.
