Elsworth Glenn Brown, 89, of Jefferson passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at Jefferson Health Care.
He was born June 5, 1932, in Leon, Ohio the son of the late Glenn and Agnes (Newbury) Brown. Elsworth was a United States Army Veteran who honorably served our country. He married Helen Chapin on July 26, 1959.
Over the years he was a laborer working for various lumber companies and farms. When he was able, he attended Kelloggsville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen; son, Dana (Debi) Brown; brothers, Ralph (Ruth) Brown, Darl (Dolly) Brown, and Glenna (Wally) Koch; sister-in-law, Kathy Brown, grandchildren, Anthony (Chelsey) Brown, Justin (R.J.) Brown, and Kassaundra (George) Humphreys; great-grandson, Carter Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Bill Brown and his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 1PM at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004, with Pastor Gary Tiedman of God’s Tabernacle in Geneva, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation on Friday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
