James A. Willison, 38, of Pierpont passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic after a courageous 7-month battle with cancer. He was born March 7, 1983, in Youngstown, he was the son of Arthur Willison. James graduated from Edgewood High School and the A-Tech Carpentry program, Class of 2001. James married the love of his life Tiffanie Johnson on September 8, 2007. James worked for many years at Kraftmaid in Orwell. Before that he remodeled houses for many years including his own. He was an avid Outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. He was talented in many ways and had an art for building things. He was outgoing in spirit, he was funny, and had never met a stranger. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. James is survived by his wife, Tiffanie; son, Braxton, who he recently adopted on December 6, 2021; brother, Christopher Willison; and his father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Tammie Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Willison. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 4-7PM at the Childs-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 1071 State Route 7, Pierpont.
