Obituary of Deborah Rene Thompson

Ashtabula- Deborah Rene Thompson, 63, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born on July 24, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida the daughter of Travis and Barbara (Connell) Thompson. Deborah attended Doughtery County High School in Albany, Georgia. She has resided in Ohio since 1985, after spending time in Florida and Georgia. Deborah was most recently employed with Clockwork Logistics as a medical courier. She was a stubborn southern gal, who lived for her family. Deborah wasn't wealthy from a materialistic standpoint, but she valued the time spent with family and supported them in every way and cherished the moments when they were out for an adventure. She was also mom to many of her children's friends and they too loved her dearly. Deborah also enjoyed crafting, including ceramics, knitting, and crocheting. She is survived by her children, Terra (Donald) Merriman, Steve A. McDonald, Jr., and Richard (Jaynie) McDonald; siblings, Keith Thompson, Donna Schilling, Shane R. (Janet) Thompson, Melanie (Brian) Headrick and Steve Swilley; grandchildren, Edward Merriman, Alexander Lohr, Domnick Merriman, Sara Rene McDonald, Travis Merriman, Kaidens McDonald and Jayson McDonald; and her stepmother, Azalea Thompson, whom she loved dearly.
