PIERPONT-Beverly Jean Holden, 79, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 24, 2021. Born April 10, 1942, in Richmond, OH to Roy and Ruth Brown, she was a lifelong area resident and 1960 graduate of Andover High School. She worked briefly at Isalys in Andover and the Credit Bureau of Ashtabula, then had a career at USPS from 1975-2002, retiring after 18 years as the postmaster in Pierpont. Bev was a member of the Pierpont Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon, elder, and Sunday School teacher. She had an infectious sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, painting, her family farm, gardening, the farmer's market, and local book club. Bev was a huge supporter her family's various endeavors and businesses, as well as a devoted caregiver for her family and friends throughout her life. Her greatest love in life was her family! Her survivors include her husband of 59 years, Patrick; four children, Bill Holden of Conneaut, Phil (Carolyn) Holden of Harpersfield, Marty (Tina) Holden of North Kingsville, and Vicki Miller of Jefferson; grandchildren, Kyle (Cassie), Ryan, Cory, Philip (Liz), Haley, Libby, and Jake Holden, Jed (Meghan) and Tyler Miller; 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Betty Parker, Janice Dick, and Roger Brown; brother-in-law, David Holden and sister-in-law, Paula Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ronald, James, and Roy Jr.; in-laws, Don and Jean Holden; brothers-in-law, John Keep, John Parker, Carl Dick; and sisters-in-law, Katy Brown, Margie Brown and Janice Holden.
