Obituary of Victor Franklin Baker

Victor Franklin Baker, 78, of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Born March 23, 1943, in Bradshaw, WV, he was a son late Cowden and Eithel (Kennedy) Baker. On October 6, 1962, he married the love of his life, Martha (Stiltner) Baker. An avid bowler, Victor bowled on several different bowling leagues. Victor and Martha enjoyed bowling together on their Sunday league and helped their team win the championship. Victor was a talented woodworker and enjoyed spending time at the local gun range. An outdoorsman, he spent many days hunting, and fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 59 years, Martha; son, Jeffrey Baker of South Carolina; sisters Diana and Wanda of Colorado, Sarita Ledford of Florida; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Baker, Alison (Evan) Bort. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dewey and Norman Baker, and his parents. Calling hours will be held from 12PM to 2PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd. Funeral service will begin at 2:30PM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum, North Kingsville with Pastor Steve Arsulic of Eagleville Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow.
