Albert "A.J." Long, Jr., 51 of Madison, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 17, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
A.J. was born Sept. 8, 1970 in Richmond Heights to Janice (O'Brien) Long and Albert Long. He graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1988 and entered the US Army. He honorably served our country for two years in Germany. He later graduated from Knoedler School of Nursing and became an LPN.
A.J. worked in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Broadfield Manor in Madison and at Rae-Ann Nursing Home in Geneva for many years.
A.J. enjoyed baseball and hockey, and spending time with his family and friends.
A.J. is survived by his father, Albert Long of Ashtabula; his mother, Janice Long of Holly Ridge, NC; his sister, Kelly Wills of Holly Ridge NC, his nephew, Dale Dodge Jr of Holly Ridge NC; his loving companion Tiffany Sandor of Madison, OH and his emotional support dog, Ollie.
Per his wishes no services will be observed.
