Obituary of Anthony Duane Bell

Anthony D. Bell CLEVELAND- Anthony Duane Bell, 56 passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 26, 2022, while a patient at Ahuja Medical Center. The son of David M. and Verna Lee (Delaney) Bell; Tony was born on July 7, 1965, in Ashtabula and graduated from Ashtabula High School class of 1983. Tony remained friends with his classmates. Tony enjoyed sports especially football and basketball. Music was a large part of his life; he listened to Scarface and Too Short and other RAP artists and watched television shows from the 90’s. Tony liked to cook, and he cooked everything well. You could always count on a good meal at his house. Tony was a good son, brother and dad; he loved his family and supported and encouraged his son, Michael. Tony is survived by his beloved son Michael Bell of Ashtabula; siblings, Edna Rene` Bell of Ashtabula, Vanessa A. Bell of Columbus, David M. Bell of Marion, Sybil D. Bell also of Columbus, Timothy I. (Rose) Bell also of Ashtabula; nieces and nephews, Rakeen Bell, Ashley Bell, Rashaad Bell, Shaniqua Bell, Keely Neal and D' Andre` Curenton; great nephew, Jabari Bell. Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bell, his parents, and Michael’s mom, Brooke Zitzman. Family will announce services at a later date.
