Brenda S. Westover
ASHTABULA – Brenda S. Westover 67, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 3, 2022, at ACMC.
The daughter of Robert V. and Eula (Bailey) Workman, Brenda was born on August 20, 1954, in Logan County, WV. She had lived in the Ashtabula area for most of her life. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Brenda was employed at several places, Pickens Plastic, Premix, and the Flamingo Lounge. She was a definite “people person” never knowing a stranger, considering you friend after one introduction.
Being a woman of many interests, Brenda enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool and dancing. During her quiet times she could be found crocheting, doing puzzles all while listening to Elvis. Brenda loved animals and her cats were especially dear to her heart.
The best times of Brenda’s life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spoiled them with love and affection; Brenda was never too busy share her time. Her family’s biggest cheerleader, always encouraging them to be the best that they could be. Everyone knew about her grandbabies; she was always sharing stories with friends and family about their latest adventures. They brought a smile to her face and joy to her heart.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Miranda (David) Jahant of NC, and Lois (James Trent) Loucks of Conneaut; grandchildren, Destiny Ridenour, Paige, Jake, and Peyton Jahant, and Macey Loucks; great grandchildren, Kisa and Melody; sister, Lois Truckey; sister-in-law, Donna Potts; loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosa Jeffrey-Verdi and Helen Knox; brothers, Roby Rose, Ernest Simpkins; and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate.
Visitation from 4PM to 6PM Saturday February 19, 2022, at Ducro Funeral Home 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio.
Because of her love of animals, cats in particular, donations in Brenda’s name may be made to Maddox and Friends, 723 Clark Street, Conneaut, Ohio.
