GENEVA-Doris Marie Scribner, 95, passed away Thursday, 17, 2022 at ACMC.
Born August 8, 1926, in Rock Creek, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Grace (Heisley) Alderman. Doris enjoyed tending to her gardens, fishing, and traveling. She was also known for her love of cats.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Robert Scribner, and Joan Miller; four grandchildren, David Miller, Tracy Long, Whitney (Ronnie) Schutt and Jeff McKeever; eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Scribner, brothers Gordon and Glen Alderman and sister, Virginia Brainard.
Private inurnment will take place in Hartsgrove Cemetery.
If one desires, memorial contributions in Doris’s name may be made to the Animal Protective League, Ashtabula County, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
