ASHTABULA- Sarah Christine Owen, 76, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.
Born August 12, 1945, in Orville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Dorance and Lola (Carr) Forrer. Together for 49 years, she was the beloved wife of Ernest Lee Owen of Ashtabula.
Sarah had a number of interests and hobbies on her journey. She loved gardening, art, bird watching, horses and crafting. She attended the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God growing in the Lord. She gave to various charities favoring Missions and animals. Her greatest joy was being in her many flower gardens on beautiful sun filled days.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Ernest Lee Owen; children, Dawn Dimler (1,1), Rachel Elliott (2,1), Charles (Marlana) Owen, Teresa Owen, Robert Owen, Shelia Frazier; siblings, Kathryn Howard, Mary Koerner, Carl (Ann) Forrer, and Martha (Daniel) McFadden; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private burial will take place in Rittman Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
