Damaris Kaye Mollick, 85, of Ashtabula passed away peacefully, Friday, February 25, 2022, at UH- Geneva Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1936, in Ashtabula the daughter of the late, Richard and Olive (Beebe) Treen. Damaris graduated from Jefferson High School Class of 1953. She married the love of her life Ronald Mollick on June 12, 1960, and together they raised three loving children. After her children became school age, Damaris went to Kent State University to earn her Nursing Degree. Over the years she worked as an RN at various hospitals. Damaris and Ron attended Trinity Presbyterian Church where they sang in the choir and played in the Bell Choir. She and Ron were also eucharistic pastors and would give sermons and take communion to residents in various nursing homes. Mrs. Mollick had a beautiful voice and would do various singing “gigs” around the county. She also played the dulcimer, guitar, keyboard, and piano. Damaris was multi-talented in many ways, she enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch, and very intricate coloring pieces. Damaris is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald; daughters, Deborah (Samuel) Wilson and Cheryl (Kier) Gallite; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Mollick; brother, Bryan (Susan) Treen; sisters, Shirley Johnson and Janice Kennedy; grandchildren, Lindsay (Tabor) Bopp, Gabrielle and Cassidy Mollick; Quinton and Rachel Wilson, and Keegan Gallite; and great-grandchildren, Emerald, Jade, Jaxson, Leyla Bopp. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Mollick on September 20, 2021, and her parents. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Oakdale Cemetery.
