Obituary of Marcaline E. Shetler

Marcaline E. Shetler “Marcy” age 79 born July 3,1942 in Elmira, New York and passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2022. She attended Euclid High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Pierpont, Ohio. Marcy worked as a L.P.N for fourteen years at Jefferson Geriatrics. She was loved by patients and faculty alike. She always put others before herself by helping not only family and friends, but she took in and helped kids setting them on the right path in life. Marcy enjoyed gardening, canning sauces, her German shepherd “Misty” among all her other dogs over time. As everyone that knows her, we would and all still say, “Marcy was definitely one of a kind “. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor and brother-in-law, Bob Lutz, children, Virginia Wilson, Johnny and Michael Lanzera, grandchildren, Justin and Jenna Wilson, Matt, Chris and Tiffany Lanzara and five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Wilson, Virginia and Clarence Shaffner, brother, Robert Shaffner., and daughter in law, Sherri Lanzara. A special thanks to The Hospice of the Western Reserve. Marcy’s love was strong like no other and will be strongly missed by all.
