Obituary of Julia Wessell-Cremeans
Please share a memory of Julia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Julia Marie Wessell- Cremeans (Jewels), 57, of Rolling Hills California, beautiful wife to Scott Cremeans, and mother to Nicole Cremeans and Jamee Cremeans, has peacefully passed away in her home, Saturday, February 26, 2022 and stepped on up to Heaven.
Julie was born September 1, 1964, being the third child born to Richard and Jennine Wessell. She has three siblings – Rick Wessell, Debbie Wessell-Petrey (Jim), and Dan Wessell (Kayla). We all had a close, fun childhood together. She had many nieces and nephews. Julie is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barb Cremeans, and father-in-law, Jim Cremeans, who she was close to.
Julie had attended Ashtabula High School; and graduated from VO-ED School in 1982, where she studied Office Technique. Also in her teenage years she went to modeling school. Julie loved horseback riding and as a young adult she entered horse tournaments and won ribbons for English riding.
Julie moved to California when she turned 18 and soon landed a job at R.E. Michel Company. Soon after she met Scott Cremeans, and they married in November, 1992. They lived in Southern California where they gave birth to their two beautiful daughters. Julie then had the opportunity to work for other great companies, such as EVY from 1994-2004, EDA Business support from 2004-2021, TrueCar from 2014-2016, and Fair (Flexible Subscriptions), Senior Director of Legal Operations, from 2016-2/26/2022.
In California, Julie volunteered at a Frisian horse ranch helping neglected horses. She also volunteered at the Tom Sullivan Blind Children Center Golf Tournaments that benefits blind children.
Julie liked to live life to the fullest, full of adventure with her many friends who loved her from Ohio and California and between. She liked to travel, sightsee, visit new and familiar locations, she wanted to do it all.
