Fay Ranier Hake League, Texas-Fay Hake passed away on December 22, 2021, in League City Texas at the age of 89. She was born on March 1, 1932, in Sanford, Maine to Melvin E. Mitchell and Mary Bowen. Fay worked at various bakeries during her life and volunteered at Ashtabula Hospital and several hospices in Ashtabula, Ohio. She also enjoyed baking, needlepoint, and completing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She is survived by husband Jerome Hake; her children, Marlene (John)Tona and Clifford Ranier; stepchildren, David (Katie)Hake, Timothy Hake, Sheryl Munson; grandchildren, Chad (Marti)Tona, John Tona, Nicole Ranier; step-grandchildren Sheena (Kalen) Boren , Shea(Remi) White, Jorma (Sarah)Hake, Laura (Tim)Moroski Dylan Hake, Lindsay Hake, Andrew Kovach, Katherine Kovach: great-great grandchildren, Olivia Tona, Jensen and Bodie; step-great-great grandchildren Emma Boren, Mason Boren and Axie White. Fay was preceded in death by her parents Melvin E. Mitchell and Mary Bowen, her husband Clifford E. Ranier, sister Christine Pierce and husband Robert, nephew Randy Pierce. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mount Carmel Church 1200 East 21st Street, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
