GENEVA- Edwin Richard Pulkkinen, 65 passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 4, 2022, while a patient at UH Geneva.
Ed was born on March 13, 1957, in Ashtabula the son of Weikko and Gladys E. (Booth) Pulkkinen and had remained a longtime area resident.
Ed enjoyed being outdoors and hunting, he could shoot a mean game of pool and enjoyed the company of his friends. He could make you laugh when you least expected it. Ed enjoyed a tall cold one (Genesee) with his friends and family.
Ed is survived by his son, Richard Pulkkinen of Kansas; grandchildren, Eric and Catherine; siblings, Patricia Dombrowsky of California, John Pulkkinen of Geneva; niece Vel-Anna Mosley of Ashtabula.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, John Rieder and Robert Nolan.
Celebration of Life Services for Ed will be held at 7PM March 11, 2022; VFW Post# 943 4102 Main Street, Ashtabula, Ohio
