Obituary of Linda I. Shimek

Memorial Services for Linda Shimek born and raised in Michigan to Robert and Emma (McAllister) Lee March 23, 1946 departed March 4, 2022 will be Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 1 pm to 4pm at Frist Grace Gospel Church 5730 Adams Ave,Ashtabula, OH 44004 Linda’s love for life, people and helping others chose to donate her body to Case Western University medical department in hopes they could learn and help others with her type of medical issues Linda is survived by her husband Tom whom she married Feb 3, 1979. She is also survived by son, John (Crystal) Shimek of Ashtabula. Son, Robert (Cindy) Shimek of Ashtabula. Daughter Faith (Michael) Chandler of Champion. Son Tommy Shimek of Geneva. With 17 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also survived by Sister Beverly (Gary) of Port Hope MI, Sister in law Toni of Delta Junction AK and Brother in Law Ron (Judy) of Austin TX. With many nieces and nephews whom she was very close with and loved dearly. Proceeding her in death, Sons Jean and Billy. Parents Robert and Emma Lee of Harbor Beach, MI. Brother Richard Lee of Harbor Beach, MI. Sister Phyllis Olp of Harbor Beach, MI. Brother Robert Lee of Delta Junction, AK. Sister Genevieve (Lee) Potter of Harbor Beach, MI. The best part of Linda’s life was being with family and friends. She loved camping and exploring new places and antique shopping. She had a close connection with nature and liked to feed the squirrels and watch the birds from her back porch. She was an active member of First Grace Gospel Church and throughly enjoyed her service and kinship with them.
