Obituary of Tina Gaggiano

Tina Gaggiano ASHTABULA- Tina Gaggiano,56 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 8, 2022, at her residence. The daughter of Louis and Angeline (Cavanagh) Veltri, Tina was born on May 25, 1965, in Ashtabula. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School and remained a lifetime area resident. Tina was a bus driver for Madison School District, while at Madison she drove the special needs bus a job she genuinely enjoyed. She was recently a bus driver for Buckeye Local Schools, she enjoyed the students on her bus route. They were greeted with her warm smile as she drove her route. Tina enjoyed being with her “kids.” Tina was a people person; she was on the Dart League for the Ashtabula Eagles and winning many trophies. She and her sister, Michelle traveled to the family vacation home in Canada and were never closer than when they spent time with each other and their family on those vacations. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially dogs. Tina enjoyed being outside and working in her gardens and talking to her neighbors. She loved her neighborhood and the folks that lived there. They looked out for each other and were like family. You knew if you were liked by Tina; by the greeting that she gave you when you walked in the house. She had a generous heart and took care of others before taking care of herself. She was generous to a fault. Tina was a mom who never missed any events; every soccer game, track and gymnastics meet; no matter the distance or weather, she was there. Tina was the LOUDEST parent in the crowd, she did not care that she was, Tina was there to support her children. Tina is survived by her beloved children; Michelle Gaggiano and Anthony Gaggiano; her sister, Michelle (Mark) Baker, bonus son, Cameron Krekelberg; loving nieces, nephews and many cousins. Her beloved canine companions, Bailey, Hope and Mollie will miss her gentle touch and loving voice. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 5PM at the Zaback Williams Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. Private inurnment will be held at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. A Gathering of Friends will be held from 3-5PM on Sunday March 20, 2022, at the Zaback Williams Ducro Funeral Home,500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.
