Thomas G. Hatmaker
ASHTABULA- Thomas G. Hatmaker. 67, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
The son of Delus and Margaret (Christie) Hatmaker, Tom was born in Oakridge Tennessee on January 4, 1955 and as a young child his family moved to the Ashtabula area. Tom was a graduate of Ashtabula High School.
A dedicated employee of Elkem Metals, Tom worked for thirty years prior to his retirement.
Tom enjoyed riding his Harley, camping and fishing with his sons. Fishing on Pymatuning Lake was always and adventure enjoyed by all. Talking with friends and catching up on the latest news was a way to spend an afternoon.
Tom was a Papa to Kamden; being a Papa brought him great joy.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jackie Hatmaker whom he married on May 16, 2008; his sons, Thomas G. Hatmaker, Jr., and Josh Hunter; grandson, Kamden hunter; brother Russell (Laura) Hatmaker; nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Michael A. Hatmaker and his parents.
It was Tom’s wish that no services be held.
