Obituary of Stephanie Meaney-Avril

Stephanie Anne Marie Meaney-Avril, 36, of Painesville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born July 16, 1985, in Ashtabula, Ohio the daughter of Earl Bagley and Rebecca Meaney. A lifelong area resident she graduated from Lakeside High School Class of 2004. She recently married the love of her life Jessica Walker-Avril on September 18, 2021. Stephanie was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed entertaining her friends and family. She was always the life of the party, always loving a good prank. Making people laugh was always a highlight for her. Her children were her highest priority and greatest joy in life. She is survived by her wife, Jessica Walker-Avril; son, Leeland Robinson; daughter, Diamond Miller; mother, Rebecca Meaney (Stanley Smith); father, Earl Bagley; sisters, Rachel Meaney, Paula Kelly, and Eloise Smith; aunts and uncles, William, Rodney, Melissa, Benjamin, and Teresa; as well as many other extended family and friends and children she raised as her own. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Annabelle Meaney and Mamie and Clarence Parrish; and her step-grandfather, Daniel King. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 3PM at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2PM until the time of service. A gathering will follow services with a location to be announced. Memorial contribution may be made in her name to the family in c/o Ducro Funeral Home.
