Ashtabula-Dominic A. Bassin, 11, passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022, at ACMC.
Born on September 9, 2010, he was a son of Jason Bassin and Ashley Meyers.
Adventurous, Dom loved riding his quad. He was an avid animal lover, especially his family’s three dogs and was known to feed the fish in the family pond. A sports fanatic, favoring baseball, Dom played on the Ashtabula County Challenger League and enjoyed watching the Cav’s play.
Dom will be deeply missed but will be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit, and his smile that touched everyone’s heart who crossed paths with him.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Jason Bassin and Ashley Meyers; his siblings, Anthony, Adriana, Carmela, and Liliana Bassin; and paternal grandparents, James, and Diana Bassin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Meyers, and his paternal grandmother, Kelly Bassinger.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1PM to 4PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula until the time of service at 4PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dom’s name may be made to Ashtabula County Challenger League, PO Box 2244, Ashtabula, Ohio 44005.
