Janice Mary Love Stroud passed away March 22, 2022, at the age of 83. She was born on April 8, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of Geneva High school and Kent State University. Janice was loved by many and known for her humor, creativity, warmth, and ability to make anyone feel valued. Janice was an avid seamstress, cook and a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. She started her career with Head Start in Ohio and continued to serve her community in schools and nonprofits after she made Denver, Colorado her final home. Preceded in death by her parents, Tracy J. and Mary Love, and her brothers, Tracy A., and David Love, she is survived by one son, Brian Stroud, and 3 grandchildren, Ramone, Allegra, and Magdalena, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Flowers can be sent “In Memory of Janice Stroud” to the staff of Holly Heights Nursing Center, 6000 East Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80222 where she was cared for until her passing. Cards can be sent to her son, Brian Stroud, 2529 Dartmouth Terrace, South Bessemer, Alabama, 35020.
