Obituary of Marcus Anthony Watson

Marcus Anthony Watson, 37, of Ashtabula, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic. Born on August 9, 1984, in Painesville, he was the son of Evelynn Watson and Maurice Gorham. Marcus was known for his loving passion for music, his smile, his love, and laughter that he brought to everyone around him. He was also known for his love of food, being in the water and going live! Marcus leaves behind two beautiful children, Ramier Watson, and Kamya Watson, whom he loved very much; his best friend, AKA his mother, Evelynn Watson; his beloved fiancée, Thia Williams; grandmother, Eroy Watson; sisters, Ellisha Blanding, Tiffany Blanding, Jalaya Gorham; brothers, Maurice (Charna) Blanding, Jalaun Gorham; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Gorham; grandmother, Elanor Parker; grandfather, Earlie Lee Watson Sr. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 11AM-1PM at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home immediately followed by the funeral service starting at 1PM.
