Paul Edwin Ashley, 70, of Ashtabula passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born June 18, 1951, in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Dorsey and Laura (Bickle) Ashley. Paul married the love of his life Marisa (Rossi) Ashley on November 29, 1973.
Over the years Paul worked as a mechanic. Paul enjoyed tinkering with things, He would often challenge himself by taking things apart and learning how to put them back together. A day in nature fishing or hunting were always good days. Relaxing watching a Browns game or Monday night wrestling were always highlights. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his children, Fred (Dawn Dull) Ashley, Ida Ashley, and Paul A. (Sandi) Ashley; grandchildren, Gregory (Giselle Broadwater) Ashley, and Christina Ashley; great-granddaughter, Illiana Marisa Ashley; and siblings, Jackson (Linda) Ashley, Shirley (Tom) Becker, and Carolyn (Dannie) Addair.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marisa on December 3, 2021, and his parents.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at a later date.
